This kind of experience makes me want to give up on online dating altogether. I wasn't asking for much. Just a normal conversation with someone who might be interested in meeting. Instead, I got endless messages, vague promises and repeated excuses. It was exhausting. The idea that paid chat operators might have been involved made the whole thing even worse.
